I need a cheap gps tracker for subpar drone or should I get a different sub par drone (drones that hold gopro type cameras) Thanks

So the drone is a bugs 3 and I am using a dragon touch motion 3 and I can use my DIY mind to get the smaller camera into place in the drone mount. (I only use the camera for the 1080p 60fps for only $50) I got a Nikon D-5200 lol. Anyways The drone is $80 and the camera is $50 and I don't wanna be spending $100 on a GPS tracker because I have seen reviews of the drone flying in a direction out of control and never being found.
