I'm an avid amateur photographer and I am looking to break into digital drone photography. I do already have a digital camera, the Fuji X100T, that I love but I just don't use it much. I was considering upgrading to the X100F but I decided to explore alternative ways of spending money on my hobbies.I enjoy camping and the outdoors and I also really like the idea of using a drone for aerial recon on trails so a portable drone with a long flight time is important to me. I don't plan to do anything crazy with it, I just think it would be neat to occasionally pop up a few hundred feet and take a look around before deciding which way to go. I pack, camp and hike ultralite style . Like way lighter than is reasonable to most people so I can easily add a pound or two to my pack without noticing.Anyway I'm looking at two drones, the Dji Mavic Air and Pro 2. The Pro 2 is the upper limit of my budget and the Air is much cheaper but if I got it I would also get the fly more kit and the care protection, the goggles and a big micro SD card for $1200.So what do you all think? Get the Pro 2 and have a extremely capable drone with a great camera or the Air which is a perfectly nice drone but with all the extras? What would you get and why? via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2OjD401
