This weekend I am taking a little hunting trip with a friend and I would like to take my drone with me to get some b roll shots of the landscape (some aerial shots of the lake and hills etc). In the state that I live in it is illegal to use a drone for hunting purposes and although that is not my purpose I am a bit concerned that a game warden might see things differently if he notices that i have a drone on me. Does anyone have any experience with situations like this? I can always fly first and leave the drone in my car which might be best but I am still concerned a warden might see things differently. In my state if you are caught breaking hunting laws you can have all your gear confiscated ( including the drone) so I don't want to take any chances. via /r/drones http://bit.ly/2BcE5zf
