Can someone help building first drone?

I'm planning on building an fpv drone and there are lots of tutorials telling about flight controllers and radio transmitters/receivers. I decided to buy the FrSky Taranis Q X7, how do i know if a receiver is compatible with it? And how do i know what flight controllers are compatible with the receiver?
