Do I need different settings on my Mavic Air or can I edit the colors in post? Sometimes getting over-exposed or overly dark videos.

Hey friends, I’ve been working on my drone channel for the last month. I’ve gotten a ton of useful info from this sub and hope I’ve been able to implement a lot of what I’ve learned as I’ve progressed.I’m still noticing that my colors aren’t popping quite like I’d want them to - whitewashed in some and too dark in others. I’m curious if this is something I could color-correct in post or if I need to adjust my settings while in the air?For further clarification - My computer is lagging on the drone videos, so it’s not super easy for me to run through post. I’m wanting to do this more efficiently, if anyone has any tips? I’m running a 2014 MacBook Pro that doesn’t seem to handle the 2.4K or 4K video from the drone. I’ve heard FCP will compress the files and make it easier to view/edit, but it’s another $299 and I hate to spend that if it’s my computer that’s the issue.I’d also consider partnering with someone who could help me edit my clips, if there are outlets for this? I have registered for blackbox, but I’m yet to find a curator who can assist with the editing aspect. This sub has also taught me a lot about the golden hour and I’ve tried to utilize this time. With the darker images - the lesson here might be that I need to more diligently adjust the camera settings while in the air. I often will find a good setting and keep it there for a shoot. But if others recommend that I need to continually change the settings during the quickly changing lighting of golden hour, this would be useful to know.TLDR - how can I get more consistent colors with my drone videos?TIA via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2HOMVYz
