How expensive and time intensive would it be to get into FPV?

never flew a drone before, and never cared to until I went to a park and saw some guys fpv racing. I don't want to think about getting into that. but, I kinda do want to mess around with an FPV, take some cool shots of my city, etc.​How much am I looking to spend for a setup?
