I’m a new drone operator in Las Vegas and I’d like to possibly use my drone for real estate/commercial work. From what I can tell about 75% of the city is in restricted airspace and would require FAA authorization to fly. My understanding is that average response time from FAA to a request is several months but this just isn’t a reasonable timeline for real estate or really most possible commercial work. I know people are finding a way as many RE listings in the area include drone work. Is everybody flying illegally or am I missing something? via /r/drones http://bit.ly/2GMZqm0
