Canadian Basic and Advanced Exams

I just came across this sub while prepping for my advanced exam. I couldn't find any current discussion on the exams, peoples findings, or help guide and was hoping to build an active discussion on the tests.I wrote the basic exam last night and passed with a 91% without too much trouble in about thirty minutes. I have a few hundred hours logged under a regional blanket SFOC over the last year and completed locally managed online training about 16 months ago.As many others have pointed out a few of the questions fall way outside the mark of what should be in the knowledge base for basic, with a few others being a bit out to lunch but reasonable.I find it a bit ridiculous that the advanced exam is 50 questions, 1 hour long and requires a 80% to pass, when the written exam for a private pilots license is 100 questions, 3 hours long, and requires a 60% despite covering what seems to be very similar material. There seems to be a bit of talk about the basic exams, but very very limited experience from persons having completed the advanced.I will edit post later tonight and attach the material I have been using for studying. via /r/drones http://bit.ly/2WnMrjl
