Looking to make a career change as a drone pilot

Hi everyone, I have recently become the proud owner a DJI Mavic Air, which I took with me on two trips through Tasmania, Australia and all throughout New Zealand. I fell in love with flying and thought it would be a good idea to make a career out of it. I'm based out of New York and know that I need to take a test to receive my license.I was hoping that any commercial drone pilots out there could tell me about the test and the best way to study for it.
