Water recovery?

I have a question for everyone regarding water recovery​How do you plan on recovering a drone if you have a mishap and you loose it over water?​I like to take mine up at the lake but I'm terrified of ever loosing it, it's a deep lake. I've thought of modifying it with styrofoam or the foam insulation boards (basically stick it underneath between the landing skids) so it's less likely to sink but I'm not sure if that's a great idea or not!​Or if anyone has any reassurances on the likelihood of losing a drone over water that'd be great! via /r/drones http://bit.ly/2KgappU
