So I have recently revived a racing drone I built 2 years ago however I am rather confused about the UK drone laws atm. Since my drone is over 250g would I have to get a license?Also I live just at the edge of no flight zone of Stansted Airport and there is a perfect field right next door to me where I can fly however 3/4 of the field is in the no flight zone so is it best I don't go there just to be safe?Also what are the height limits? I don't have an altitude meter on my drone but I believe i'm not going any higher than 150 feet max(used a drone with an altitude meter to get a rough idea for when I did punch outs over the trees) and I am usually staying bellow tree branches most of the time.Theres loads of different information on the laws depending on where I look since the government is making loads of legislation at the moment.Also is it true I would have to pay £150 for a licences if my drone is over the weight limit cos if so I can't afford that and i'm defiantly not gonna stop flying. via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2xjPLxw
