Has anyone used the QGroundcontrol program for autonomous flying of your drone(s)? I have it installed on my Windows laptop and have had a couple of questions concerning it's functions. 1st, I was able to connect to my drone's wifi signal to program the waypoints, I guess I did everything right, I synced the waypoints to the drone itself, but since it is an earlier version 3.0.1, I think, it doen't show the onboard waypoints. I am flying a Parrot AR Drone 2 with the Flight Recorder module installed. Also, my laptop does not have cellular data, so if I take it outside, I obviously will not have home wifi available, can I still use it with QGroundcontrol? I mean, if I program everything while indoors on home wifi and send all the waypoints to the drone, is my home wifi needed from that point forward during flight? via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2LtBWF2
