Just getting into drones. Build or buy?

Hello, I am relatively new to the drone/UAV community, and I have come across a dilemma. My original starting plan was to buy a DJI/Ryze Tello, and use that to learn to fly. I then came across the fpv/racing part of drones, and being the aspiring engineer that I am, looked into building a drone.My dilemma is: do I buy a tello to learn, and save for a home built drone later? Or do I build a drone with my budget to learn how drones work, and get a more in depth understanding of building/flying drones? via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2lIqQS6
