Newbie here - looking for advice on a starter pack

Greetings. Not sure why I didn't get this going years ago but better late than never.I have an idea for a pretty cool little mapping project on my property. I'd like to buy a cheap, entry-level quadcopter with a view to upgrading it later if the idea works.I need something with a camera that can broadcast decent (ideally uncompressed) images and one that I can programmatically send movement commands to.I'm a physicist/engineer by trade so a hobbyist platform should be fine. I'm comfortable with hacking things.A nice to have would be a good SDK that I can interface with PC-based software in real time. I'd prefer to program my solution in Python if I can.I was looking at the Ryze Tello as a starting point but its SDK seems constrained to Scratch which I have never used. Is that accurate?Ideal pricepoint for this project would be <$200. via /r/drones https://www.reddit.com/r/drones/comments/dof6b5/newbie_here_looking_for_advice_on_a_starter_pack/?utm_source=ifttt
