Mavic Mini good first time drone to learn or something else?

I'm looking at getting into drone piloting as a hobby. I've flown small helicopters in the past, but nothing past that.I have done a bit of research on the Mavic Mini and keep seeing good things about it, but would this be a good starter drone or should I look at something else? My main concern is, it's $400, and I'm worried with very little flying experience in the past if this is something that I should even be considering.I'm not really into photography, but I could see myself getting into it with a drone in the future.Also, this is more of just a curious question. I've seen videos of drones flying out over 1000+ foot drops to get aerial shots of mountains, I'd be nervous as hell even with a full battery, how would I get around that since some of those images just look amazing. via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2qQlTJE
