Mavic pro or Mavic pro 2 for photography

TL:DRfor photography, should i spend an extra $600 for the mavic pro 2 or save $ and get a OG mavic pro. all i care about is being able to take good photos and have good flight range without connection issued ( had a mavic air when it launch the the range / connection quality was trash)hey all. so when the mavic air was announced i bought it mainly for photography. i loved taking photos with it but what i hated was the horrid reception (controller or drove transmission) it had. i could rarely fly it far without it dropping signal. even with LOS, it would drop to 2 to 1 bar quick and without LOS forget about it. so i sold it. well i miss having a drone and was thinking about buying one again. i narrorwed it down to the old mavic pro and the new (ish) mavic pro 2. I would love to get something small like the air or the new mini but the new mini does not support RAW photo taking (very upset and stupid on dji to not allow to shoot in DNG) and it uses wifi like the mavic air for transmission.I figured that both the mavic pro and pro 2 use RC (ocusync) for transmission it would be MUCH better at being able to fly further away without it dropping connection but also shoot in raw. Right now i found someone selling a mavic pro (the apple white edition) for cheap ($500) but i see that you can get a DJI refurbished mavic pro 2 for $1099. i can't decide if i should just spend the extra $ and get the pro 2 or save the money and get the proi know the pro 2 has a 1" sensor and the ability to change F/stops but being that i mainly am going to use this for photography and not for 4k video, im not sure if the pro 2 would be worth the extra $600. via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2SBfnSy
