I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit for this, but I was flying my Parrot Bebop 2 this afternoon, and after flying for a few minutes it just dropped out of the sky. I wasn't near any trees, or any other obstacles, it had about 60% battery left and despite the 100 foot drop there was no visible damage to the drone.I managed to turn it back on, and it didn't throw any errors in the FreeFlight App, so I took off again. This time I was being more careful, I kept it below 20 feet and over an open grass field. It flew for a few more minutes, and then shut off again. The only controls I was touching when it went down were the control sticks on the skycontroller. I don't think the controller even has a killswitch mapped anywhere on it.I wonder if there is something wrong with the battery, I was using the OEM battery, and I've had this thing for a while. I switched to a brand new aftermarket battery after the second crash and flew for 10-15 minutes without a problem. (I only stopped because the phone I was using for FPV gave me a low battery warning, the drone still had 50%). via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2VpS5jP
