The FAA wants to require drones to have remote tracking devices in them. This will raise costs and drive many people out of the hobby:Congress directed the FAA in 2016 to issue regulations or guidance by July 2018 to permit the public, the FAA, law enforcement and others to remotely track and identify drones and their operators during flight. For more information on the tech behind the proposal, check out the FAA page. You can comment about this and have your say at this location (click "submit a formal comment"). via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2Qe2snM
