Interpreting CA drone trespassing laws

I have been looking specifically at AB 856. Here is the summary of the law:"Under existing law, except as specified, a person is liable for physical invasion of privacy when that person knowingly enters onto the land of another person without permission or otherwise trespasses to capture any type of visual image, sound recording, or other physical impression of a person engaging in a private, personal, or familial activity and the invasion occurs in a manner that is offensive to a reasonable person."I am trying to figure out whether I would be breaking this law if I fly my drone over some large rural private property. These properties are large areas of land with rolling hills and oak trees. There are also cattle spread around some of them. I would be flying my drone far away from any homes, trails, roads or other structures on the property. The purpose of flying over their property would be to take landscape photographs that span many hundreds to thousands of acres of land. I definitely would not be going near any people or private areas such as homes. Is there room in this law for what I want to do? If anyone has any particular knowledge on this subject, I'd love your insight. I'd also love to hear everyone's thoughts on how I could break this law by flying in the way that I described. Thanks! via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2VXtWzQ
