Do sensors and obstacle avoidance really matter that much???

I want to buy the DJI Mavic Mini as my first drone but I'm afraid that without obstacle avoidance I could just crash and waste 500 bucks.Does obstacle avoidance matter that much???If I crash is there some kind of warranty??? via /r/drones https://ift.tt/3iaSIXv
