A colleague on mine is interested in a UAV that can be flown through forest by a novice. I'm thinking that GNSS signal under a canopy will be too spotty to be reliable, so they will have to fly manually after a lot of practice. The idea is to use a 360° camera to do a virtual fly through from what I gather.Does anyone have experience flying slow though forest and up into the canopy and would you mind sharing your experience, thoughts, and tips? via /r/drones https://ift.tt/2CNrKF4
