The other night I was heading out to a beach around midnight about 10 minutes from town in the middle of nowhere when I saw what looked like a Ufo flying up above the road infront of me so I pulled over straight away and watched it. It didnt move for about a minute basically facing me until it went over the car and took off to where I couldnt see it. The reason I think its a drone is because it had 4 red lights (Not Flashing) on its corners and what looked to be some white lights on its base, once it saw me its white lights turned off as if it went into a stealthier mode and flew away.So my questions are, Can you turn your drone lights off mid flight? Do some consumer drones have night flying capablities to see in pitch black? How far is the range on an average drone?
