A few weeks ago my spark had a flyaway, however I got control and got it back. I was doing several things wrong I was not aware of that I should have been (calibrated compass on a peir, wore my apple watch while calibrating, flew over water, etc). But that basically traumatized me. I flew it and I became much more careful. A week later, the compass failed again and it flew into a nearby tree falling 40 feet and breaking the gimbal. No warranty applicable as it was used (contacted dji, were not helpful). I got a replacement spark for cheap, but now I am scared to use it. I fly it once a week instead of once or twice a day. When I do fly it its more agonizing and scary than fun. I am scared to break another drone because the first one basically ruined drones for me.I never fly it more than a couple hundred feet away, and I shake in fear when its more than say a hundred feet high. While I haven’t had issues with the new spark (although when I did fly full stick forward on both sticks in sport mode for a second it flipped into atti then back). What should I do at this point. Reading about flyaways, experiencing 2, and having so much money in the air basically just ruined it for me and I want to overcome this.TLDR: Had a flyaway, got new drone, scared to use it. via /r/drones https://ift.tt/36bnDPK
